Eastern Time Inc. takes to the green sponsoring a Hole at the Delaware Valley Educational Foundations annuals Golf Outing
We Are Open
We are approved by the state to be open and continue to serve the life safety needs of our customers by promoting a “Safety First” requirement of all work we do.
Although construction has been shut down our fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control and nurse call inspection/service/emergency repair work has been keeping us busy.
Our remote and field staff are abiding by all CDC, WHO & OSHA requirements during the current COVID-19 work landscape as a Life-Sustaining Business.
We look forward to continue serving our customers and community during this time of need.
In the 35 years since its inception, Eastern Time has had its share of ups and downs, but one thing always remained, the drive and motivation of Chuck, Marc, & Bryan Rizzo, and the team they have surrounded themselves with, to be successful. The tenacity of the team of professionals and support staff employed at Eastern Time is unmatched by anyone in today’s market.
In 2006, when Marc and his brother Bryan joined the ranks at Eastern Time, a breath of new life and invigorating spirit was brought into the company with their new roles. Following the platform of their father, Marc and Bryan began hiring team members they trusted and believed could build an even stronger foundation upon which to grow and expand, creating the next generation Eastern Time, and opening doors to new markets and technologies as well as bringing a new degree of experience and expertise.
Flash forward 10 years, and Eastern Time has been recognized as one of Lehigh Valleys Fastest Growing Companies for 2017, an honor that Marc and Bryan feel very personal about, and that most employees feel these two brothers are largely responsible for. When asked what this accomplishment meant to them, the Rizzo brothers had this to say:
“We strive to be leaders in integrated life safety technology that protects our friends, family and community. We appreciate the support of the community and this serves as a nice reminder that we are on the right trajectory.” – Marc Rizzo
“We are humbled by this accomplishment and realize it would not be possible without the continued support of our customers, staff and suppliers.” – Bryan Rizzo
Founding team members and executive leaders of Eastern Time attended a breakfast at DeSales University on October 25, 2017, where it was revealed they ranked #33 out of 45 of the fastest growing companies in the Lehigh Valley. Eastern Time would like to thank the Lehigh Valley Business Journal for this esteemed honor and recognition of their hard work and dedication to the Lehigh Valley Community.

Along with the financial sponsorship provided directly to the school, many of Eastern Time, Inc’s employees put up a personal sponsorship for Gia Rizzo, daughter of Vice President & Co-Owner Bryan Rizzo, to participate in the Walk-Thon. In true Rizzo fashion, Gia worked hard and gave her all to help her school, and we are very proud of her!

Eastern Time sent 3 representatives to attend the April networking event for the Young Professional groups of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Construction Specifiers Institute (GLVC CSI) and the Eastern PA Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
The event took place April 5th at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix, 649 S 10th St, Allentown, PA, 18103, US. Each company was assigned a team of 3 to 4 individuals to race and see who was the fastest company in the Valley. Representing Eastern Time were Sales & Marketing Specialist-Megan Povenski, Sales Manager & Vice President-Marc Rizzo, and Construction Department Manager & Vice President-Bryan Rizzo, who along with their father Chuck are partners in ownership of Eastern Time Inc.
After some time to network over pizza and wings provided by LV Grand Prix, it was time to take the track. The race was divided into 3 heats, with the fastest lap times being the deciding factor of who would take home the medals. Megan won the first heat against 6 other individuals representing various companies throughout the Lehigh Valley with the fastest lap time of 34.609. Marc and Bryan both raced in the third heat, where Bryan came out the victor with a fastest lap time of 33.401 over Marc’s 34.668.
Eastern Time came out of the evening with the top 3 fastest individual lap times, as well as the overall fastest average lap time for the team event, giving us bragging rights and the domination of the podium. Overall this was a successful evening both on and off the track. CSI & AIA are fantastic organizations to be a part of and the opportunity to network with other industry professionals in the Lehigh Valley is always a winning endeavor.

Campus Alumnus/Eastern Time Fund Rizzo Scholarship
Campus Alumnus, Chuck Rizzo, president and CEO of Eastern Time, Inc., along with his sons Marc and Bryan, and wife, Gail, have funded an endowed scholarship in memory of Chuck’s parents, James and Margaret Rizzo. Preference for the scholarship will be given to graduates of Dunmore High School who are pursuing a degree in engineering.
“Chuck is a perfect example of what hard work and ambition can accomplish. He is an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and has shared these skills with his sons who have become successful businessmen in their own right,” said Director of Development Maria Russoniello.
Eastern Time, Inc. is well known in the Allentown area, where their primary business is located, for their philanthropy to many causes. Cuck and his family recognize the importance of private support in helping those in need.
Chuck’s Dad, Jim Rizzo, was an employee of the campus in the maintenance department for several years. By establishing this scholarship, Chuck, an native of Dunmore, has combined this special tribute to his parents with his fondness for his hometown and personal background in electrical engineering. He and his son, Bryan, recently spoke to our campus’ Entrepreneurship and Business classes.
